Way Back Wednesday: Dan Hartman
When I was growing up, my mom owned an aerobics studio so she had tons of albums of all the current hits. A lot were 12 inches with remixes and instrumentals. They were sorted and labeled by what the good songs were, how long they lasted and for what exercise. This one was one of my mom's favorites and it will forever remind me of doing DOGGIES. You probably won't find many people in the gym doing doggies these days, at least that's not what they're calling it. I stand by the fact that the doggie is still an effective exercise...even though it's not the 80's. And, this song might still be one of my mom's favorites. She's old school.
*Please note, I tried to find an 80's video of the doggie, but couldn't weed through all of the videos of dogs doing aerobics to find it. It's also known as the fire hydrant. HOT.

How did I ever miss the fact that your mother owned an aerobics studio?!?! Oh how that explains so much Jeannie.
ReplyDeleteYou forgot to mention that Dan Hartman's song is from the cinematic musical action comedy drama masterpiece Streets of Fire. Next time it's on TV I will hit the floor and do a set of Doggies for you and your mama.
